WFR FFA Officers attend State Leadership Conference
WHITE LAKE - Five of the six WFR FFA Chapters attended the State Leadership Conference at the NC FFA Center in White Lake NC. The conference theme is Ignite
"This is a week long conference held at the FFA Center at White Lake. The week focuses on leaving the member a way to grow personally as a leader and a FFA member. Throughout the week there are workshops held by the past and present state officers, as well as guest speakers about trends in agriculture and life skills. During the week, students also take part in a service project that benefits the community. Whether it is picking butter beans or blueberries to donate to the local food bank or cleaning up and repairing the buildings around the FFA Center, members leave the conference feeling they have made an impact on someone else." courtesy NC FFA
